When it comes to shopping, Dulles Town Center is residents’ go-to destination. This massive mall includes stores like Ann Taylor, Dick’s Sporting Goods, GAP, Nordstrom, and more. There are also plenty of places to grab a bite to eat here, from convenient favorites at the food court to popular sit-down chains such as Longhorn Steakhouse and Red Lobster. There is even a movie theater inside the mall with a full service lobby bar and luxurious reclining chairs to maximize your movie viewing experience.
There are also plenty of delicious restaurants scattered throughout the town, including Aoba Japanese Restaurant. This family-owened eatery will more than satisfy your sushi cravings. Meaning “the green leaf” in Japanese, Aoba is known for having some of the best sushi in the area, always masterfully made and artfully presented on the plate.
Cascades Overlook is a newer mixed-use development in Sterling. This center features a Harris Teeter, and delicious restaurants including Chuy’s Tex-Mex and Burton’s Grill. Retail shops are being added as the shopping center expands.
Traveling Around Sterling
Most of Sterling’s residents rely on cars for getting around. With Route 28 running north to south and Route 7 from east to west, and Dulles International Airport only minutes away, the town is in the ideal Northern Virginia location. Sterling is also served by the Loudoun County local bus routes, with route 70 stretching from Leesburg to Sterling and route 82 as the Sterling Connector.
